Japanese Crash Course

About the Course
4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday. ※No class on public holidays.

Class times (9:10 or 11:10) are decided monthly.

The schedule for the next month will be confirmed and the applicant will be notified of the time by email every month (mid-month).

Seats for each class are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply as soon as possible.

Japanese Crash Course has homework. Be sure to complete all homework in a timely manner in order to maximize your language growth and improvement.

Every Friday is a special curriculum day (for review, tests, feedback, etc.). Please participate actively.
Class Materials

​​Coto original PDF material can be purchased at the Coto Club reception 1000 yen / book. You can download it from the School Scheduling System.

If you would like paper copies of the Coto original PDF material, please print them yourself. This can be done at a convenience store near the school. ​If you would like to purchase paper files of the material from the school, 2000 yen / book will be charged separately. If you did not place an order at the time of application, please email to info@cotoclub.com.

If you are using PDF materials, please use a tablet, PC, or another large and easy to see device - not a smart-phone.​

Also, please bring writing utensils and a notebook so that you can take notes and practice writing for your lessons.

Please be sure to purchase the class material in advance, and bring them with you to all classes. If you do not have them with you, you will not receive the full learning effect and it may affect your curriculum progress. Please understand, and thank you for your cooperation.

Course Policy
Class Absence and Tardy
In order to maximize your language growth and study effectively, we ask that you attend all classes in a timely manner.
If a situation arises in which you must be late or absent, you can cancel the class on your page by 18:00 PM of the day prior to class.

In order to maximize the classes' learning effect, please make sure to study the class content for the day you were absent before joining the next lesson.​
​
Catch-up Lessons
As the name implies, "catch-up lessons" are a way to get caught up on any missed or cancelled classes at a later date and time.
​
If you cancel the class by 18:00 PM on the day before the lesson, we offer a maximum of 1 catch-up lesson per week. A catch-up lesson can be a 50 minutes private lesson or 1 Part-time session and the missed content will be covered.
Important
Catch-up lesson must be booked within the course’s month.

Changing Courses
A fee will be charged for course changes made after your course application has been submitted.

To Continue the Course
Japanese Crash course has 2 months. If you apply only for the 1st month but wish to continue the 2nd month, please apply to continue and complete your application as soon as possible.
Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply by the 2nd week of the 1st month.
after the 2nd month
To Continue the Course
Your next step after Crash Course is "Beginner" classes. Those classes are conducted in Part-time Japanese Course.
Your first level in the course is Beginner 1 and it’s held 2 times per week. The schedule will be finalized in the middle of the 2nd month.
Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply to continue and complete your application as soon as possible.
